Forrester Consumer Technographics Omnibus Surveys are a fast, inexpensive way to ask proprietary questions and get answers to your current marketing and market research questions from a representative sample of 5,000 US consumers.

Forrester conducts the mail Omnibus survey in Q2, and the online Omnibus in Q1, Q3, and Q4. In the mail Omnibus, Forrester appends the responses to the North American Benchmark Survey, which includes topics ranging from mobile phone ownership to online financial and retail behaviors. In the online Omnibus, we sponsor a series of questions about basic technology ownership and behaviors that we append to your data.

The questions you ask and the results remain your intellectual property. You get custom data at a lower cost than full-scale primary research.

Forrester helps you draft meaningful, action-oriented questions, conducts the survey, and delivers an analysis of the results. Here's how it works:

  • You submit questions to Forrester.
  • We field the survey to a representative sample of US consumers.
  • This survey generates 5,000 completed responses.

Data Delivery

  • The data set is delivered to you in SPSS format and includes your proprietary questions.
  • Data tables of your questions and customized banner output are also available.

Additional Offerings

  • You can manipulate and analyze data for internal use.
  • If you are a client of Forrester's North American Consumer Technographics, your Data Advisor can help you cut the data in addition to your own analysis.
  • Our consumer research advisors and analysts can also summarize and analyze the results of the questions you asked in the survey. Your results are presented in a:
    • Two-hour conference call.
    • Twenty-slide PowerPoint presentation.
    • Spreadsheet with relevant data cuts.
  • After you submit your final questions and before the data is received, Forrester conducts a one-hour preparatory phone call with you. At this time, you and the Forrester analyst decide on the depth of analysis, timeline, and deliverables.
